KwikMedi launched its full platform in July 2026. A few months in, here's a short look at the company, written the way we'd discuss it internally.
KwikMedi is a hyperlocal healthcare platform in India. Customers order prescription and over-the-counter medicine through the app and receive it from a nearby verified pharmacy, in as little as 30 minutes. They can also book lab tests at home, set up refills and reminders for chronic medication, and find other home-based health services.
It serves individuals and families, seniors and chronic-care patients, and also works with clinics, hospitals and corporate customers.
It's live and growing. Since the July launch, KwikMedi has reached 590 paying customers.
The supply side is building. More than 22 pharmacy partners are active on the platform, with more onboarding. In a hyperlocal business, density of partners is what makes fast delivery possible.
Diagnostics extend the relationship. A partnership with Redcliffe Labs brings doorstep lab tests into the same app, turning a one-off medicine order into an ongoing healthcare relationship.
The founder is disciplined. Abhishek Kumar Yadav is building density in Delhi NCR before expanding, instead of spreading thin across many cities at once.
Repeat behavior. Chronic-care refills are the heart of a durable healthcare delivery business. How often customers come back will tell us a lot.
Unit economics. Fast delivery is expensive. Order density and basket size will decide how profitable each delivery can be.
City-by-city playbook. Once Delhi NCR is working, the question is how quickly the model can be repeated in the next city.
"The program has helped us sharpen our business strategy, strengthen our fundraising readiness and connect with a broader startup ecosystem." Abhishek Kumar Yadav, Founder, KwikMedi
