Speed Is the Strategy: Why LvlUp Is Backing Early-Stage CPG Founders Right Now

Most accelerators run on a calendar. Applications open, a cohort forms, everyone waits for the next intake window, and by the time a founder actually gets in front of capital, months have passed: months a lean CPG brand often doesn't have.

We built the Fall Program to work differently.

We're not running a cohort. We're writing checks.

There's no cycle to wait for here. If you're building an early-stage Food & Beverage or Skincare & Beauty brand and the product works, we want to talk to you now, not in a quarter, and not after a "batch" fills up. The Fall Program opens September 8th, and it's built for founders based anywhere in the US, Canada, Europe, or MENA.

That geographic breadth is intentional. Some of the most interesting CPG innovation right now isn't coming out of the usual three zip codes. It's coming from founders solving real problems for real customers wherever they happen to be building. We'd rather go find that than wait for it to show up in our inbox.

Why speed matters more in CPG than almost anywhere else

Consumer brands live and die on momentum. Inventory has to move. Retail conversations have windows. A founder who's found early traction, whether that's repeat customers, a shelf conversation heating up, or a formulation finally dialed in, doesn't need six weeks of diligence theater. They need a fast, real answer: yes, no, or here's what we need to see.

That's the whole design principle behind this program. No long application funnels. No committee purgatory. No jumping through hoops designed to make an accelerator feel more selective than it needs to be.

You build it. We write the check. That's the deal.

What founders actually get

This isn't a check with no context behind it. Every applicant who moves forward gets screened directly by Brandon Maier, our General Partner, someone who's spent real time in this category, not a rotating associate reading off a rubric. From there, founders get access to mentorship from people who've actually built and scaled CPG brands, plus introductions to investors and operators who move deals, not just take meetings.

The goal isn't to make founders feel like they're being evaluated. It's to make them feel like they finally found the capital partner who understands the category's actual pace.

Who we're looking for

If you're building in Food & Beverage or Skincare & Beauty, you're based in the US, Canada, Europe, or MENA, and your product works, meaning real customers, real repeat behavior, real signal, not just a good pitch deck, this is built for you.

Applications close before September 8th. There's no reason to wait until the deadline to reach out.
